Home Renovations Perth

Full-scale renovations that transform how you live in your home. Every stage managed by our team Marshall, every finish held to the same demanding standard.

Your Home, Completely Reimagined

Some homes need cosmetic work. Others need pulling back to the bones and rebuilding from the inside out. Marshall & Co. handles both, and everything in between.

A full home renovation in Perth or Perthshire typically means dealing with older properties, such as sandstone tenements, Victorian villas, and traditional farmhouses, each with their own quirks and hidden surprises once the walls come down. Lee has worked on all of them. He knows what to look for and how to handle what he finds without derailing the project or inflating the price.

Every renovation is managed by our trusted team from first fix to final snag. For electrics, plumbing, plastering, bespoke joinery, tiling, and decoration, nothing gets handed off to someone he hasn't personally vouched for. The standard you see on completion day is the standard Lee signed off on.

Get in Touch
What does a full home renovation typically include?
A whole-house renovation can cover anything from structural alterations and rewiring to new plasterwork, flooring, decoration, joinery, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and window replacement. The scope is entirely defined by what the property needs and what the client wants to achieve.
Do I need to move out during a full home renovation?
For major renovations, particularly those involving significant structural work or work across the whole property simultaneously, it is often more practical to vacate during the main phase. For phased renovations where work progresses room by room, it may be possible to remain in the property. This is discussed and agreed at the planning stage.
How is a home renovation project managed?
We coordinate all trades and manage the programme from start to finish. You have a single point of contact throughout and are kept informed at each stage. The sequence of works is planned carefully so trades follow on from each other without unnecessary delays.
Do you handle structural alterations such as wall removals?
Yes. Removing walls to create open-plan layouts is a common part of home renovation projects. Structural walls require a steel beam and sign-off from a structural engineer, which we manage on your behalf.
How long does a full home renovation take?
The duration depends on the size of the property and the extent of the works. A thorough renovation of a three to four bedroom house typically takes between three and six months. A realistic programme is provided at the outset.
What planning consents might be required?
Internal alterations generally do not require planning permission. However, a Building Warrant is typically required for structural work, extensions, and changes to drainage. If the property is listed or in a conservation area, additional consents will apply. We will guide you through what is needed.
Can you work to a budget?
Yes. If you have a defined budget, share it with us at the outset and we will design a scope of works that delivers the best outcome within that figure. We are clear about costs from the start and do not commit to work that cannot be delivered properly within the available budget.
How do I get started?
Call us on 07940 568877 or complete the enquiry form on the contact page. We will arrange a consultation to understand your property, your goals, and your timescale, and follow up with a full written proposal.
