Bathroom Renovations Perth

A bathroom renovation touches on plumbing, electrics, tiling, waterproofing, and joinery, all in a small space that has to be right first time. Lee Marshall handles every element personally.

A Bathroom That Works Beautifully

Bathrooms demand precision — whether as a standalone project or part of a wider home renovation. The waterproofing has to be right behind every tile, the plumbing first fix has to be placed accurately, and the tiling has to be set out in a way that works with the room instead of just the wall in isolation. Lee has done this enough times to know exactly where corners get cut and how to avoid every one of them.

A bathroom renovation with Marshall & Co. starts with a full strip-out to bare substrate. What goes back in is entirely your brief: walk-in shower, freestanding bath, heated towel rails, underfloor heating, bespoke vanity unit. If updated windows or new internal doors form part of the brief, our windows and doors service can be scoped in at the same time. Lee sources quality sanitaryware and fixtures and installs them to a standard that lasts.

No trades are brought in from outside. Our team manages every aspect of the fit-out, which means clear accountability from first fix to final decoration.

Get in Touch
Do I need planning permission for a bathroom renovation?
Internal bathroom renovations do not require planning permission. If the work involves moving drainage or adding a new bathroom in a space not previously used for that purpose, a Building Warrant may be required. We will clarify what applies to your project.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A full bathroom renovation typically takes one to two weeks from stripping out to completion. En-suite or cloakroom projects may be quicker. The timeline depends on the scope of tiling, any structural changes, and the lead time on sanitaryware and tiles.
Do you supply the bathroom suite and tiles, or do I source them?
You can choose either approach. Many clients prefer to select and supply their own sanitaryware and tiles, and we fit them. Alternatively, we can manage the full supply and installation. Both approaches work well and are agreed upfront.
Can you move the toilet, shower, or bath to a different position?
Yes. Repositioning sanitaryware involves extending or rerouting drainage and water supply pipework, which we handle as part of the project. The feasibility depends on the floor construction and the location of existing soil pipes.
Will I be without a bathroom during the renovation?
For most of the renovation, the bathroom being worked on will be out of use. We work efficiently to complete the project within the agreed programme. If you only have one bathroom, we will discuss how to manage the disruption period before work starts.
What tiling options do you work with?
We work with all standard tile formats including large format porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, and mosaic. We can advise on suitable grout, adhesive, and waterproofing systems for wet areas. The preparation of walls and floors is done correctly from the outset.
Can you fit underfloor heating in a bathroom?
Yes. Electric underfloor heating mats are a popular and straightforward addition during a bathroom renovation and can be installed beneath most tile and stone finishes. We fit the heating mat as part of the tiling phase and it is connected by a qualified electrician.
