Do you supply and fit the kitchen or just fit?

We can work either way. We are experienced in fitting kitchens supplied by the client from any manufacturer, and we can also manage the full supply and fit process. The approach is agreed at the outset depending on your preference and budget.

Does a kitchen renovation require planning permission?

Internal alterations such as a kitchen renovation do not generally require planning permission. If the work involves removing a structural wall or altering drainage, a Building Warrant may be needed. We will advise on what applies to your project.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

A standard kitchen installation typically takes one to two weeks. If the project involves structural changes, new plumbing, or significant rewiring, the programme will be longer. You will have a clear timeline before any work begins.

Will I have access to a functioning kitchen during the work?

For most of the renovation, the kitchen will be out of use. We work as efficiently as possible to minimise the disruption period and will agree a realistic programme with you in advance so you can plan accordingly.

Do you handle plumbing and electrics as part of the project?

Yes. We coordinate all trades required including plumbing, tiling, and electrical first and second fix. Qualified tradespeople are brought in for certification work where required, and all installations meet current regulations.

Can you knock through a wall to create an open-plan kitchen?

Yes. Removing walls to create open-plan kitchen-dining or kitchen-living spaces is something we carry out regularly. Structural walls require a steel beam and engineering input, which we manage on your behalf.

What flooring options work best in a kitchen?

Porcelain or ceramic tiles, luxury vinyl tile, and engineered hardwood are all popular and practical choices for kitchens. The right option depends on your existing subfloor, underfloor heating if fitted, and personal preference. We can advise at the design stage.
