Coupar Angus

Coupar Angus was once a significant Cistercian abbey town, the ruined foundations of Coupar Angus Abbey still sit at the north end of the settlement. The Victorian properties along Causewayend and George Street reflect the town's prosperous market past, and some of these buildings carry solid stone construction that requires proper assessment before renovation begins. The town also has a substantial proportion of post-war housing that tells a different structural story and is at the right age for quality improvement work.

Lee travels the A923 between Perth and Blairgowrie regularly. Coupar Angus falls naturally on this route and the drive from Perth is straightforward.
