Scone village, Perthshire, covered by Marshall & Co.

Scone

Just north of Perth city. Lee works in Scone regularly. Extensions, loft conversions, full renovations. He knows the village well.

Scone is on the Doorstep

Scone is where Scottish kings were crowned on the Stone of Destiny, and Scone Palace remains one of the great houses of Perthshire. The village that sits near it has a character shaped by proximity to Perth, many of the residential streets along Old Scone Road and around the Stormont area blend with the city's eastern edge. The northern end of the village edges into more rural land with larger detached properties along Balboughty Road, while the village core has older stone buildings with their own structural character.

Lee works between Perth and Scone constantly. The boundary is minimal in practice and his familiarity with this area extends to knowing which streets carry older construction and which represent more recent development. The assessment he brings to a Scone property is based on experience with both.
