Bankfoot clusters along the old A9 north of Perth, just before the road begins its climb towards Dunkeld and the Highland hills. The village has older stone properties on the main street mixed with post-war semis and 1970s bungalows on the side streets. The stone buildings are solid but carry the complications typical of older Perthshire construction, irregular wall thickness, original sarking boards under the roof, and sometimes lime-based internal plaster that needs matching correctly if any work is done in the rooms behind it.
Lee travels through Bankfoot on his way to Stanley, Dunkeld, and other projects to the north. It sits naturally on his regular route and taking on work here adds nothing meaningful to his day. He applies the same assessment and quoting process as anywhere else in his coverage area.
